This page collects every agreement that applies when you use Kairo: the Privacy Policy, the Terms of Service, the User Policy and the Subscription and Refund Terms. The same documents are shown inside the app, under Settings, and they are identical in substance. If you do not agree with them, please do not use Kairo.

1. Privacy Policy
In short: Kairo keeps your video, sessions and markers on your device. We do not collect personal data, and there is no Kairo account or server.
1.1 Data collection
Every part of Kairo runs on your device. We do not collect, transmit or share your personal information. Videos, photos, sessions and marker data stay in local storage on your iPhone and are never uploaded to us or to anyone else. The App Store privacy label for Kairo reports that the app does not collect data and does not track you.
1.2 Permissions we ask for
- Photos (read): used to import the video you want to cut, and to read embedded timecode from that file.
- Photos (add only): used to save the clips you export back to your library.
- HealthKit on Apple Watch: Kairo starts a workout session only to keep the app active while a capture session is running. Kairo does not read, store, share or otherwise process health data, and it never uses HealthKit for advertising.
Kairo does not request camera or microphone access, and it does not record video itself. You bring your own footage.
1.3 Local storage and retention
Sessions and markers are stored with SwiftData on your device. Preferences are kept in the system settings storage. Temporary video files created while editing are cleaned automatically, and you can clear the cache at any time from Settings in the app. Deleting Kairo from your device permanently removes all of this local data.
1.4 Subscriptions and payments
Kairo Pro subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are processed by the Apple App Store. Payments, billing and refunds are handled by Apple. Kairo never receives or stores your payment information.
1.5 Cloud services and third parties
Kairo does not use iCloud sync, and it contains no third party advertising, analytics or tracking SDKs. The app makes no network requests other than the App Store calls needed to load products, restore purchases and validate a transaction.
1.6 Children's privacy
Kairo is intended for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Minors should use the app with guidance from a parent or guardian.
1.7 Changes to this policy
Any update is published on this page with a new date. Continued use of Kairo after an update means you accept the revised policy.
2. Terms of Service
2.1 Acceptance of terms
By downloading, installing or using the Kairo application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App. We may update these Terms from time to time.
2.2 Description of service
Kairo is a highlight capture and editing tool for athletes and creators. It lets you place time markers from Apple Watch, import your own video footage, trim the marked moments and export clips. Kairo runs entirely on your device. Recording data, markers and exported videos are stored locally.
2.3 Licence and Apple terms
Kairo is licensed, not sold, to you for personal use on Apple devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. Your use of the App is also subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement. Where the two conflict, Apple's terms apply to your use of the App Store, and these Terms apply to your use of Kairo's features.
2.4 Local data and backups
All data generated through Kairo is stored on your device with Apple's SwiftData framework. Kairo does not collect, transmit or store personal data on remote servers. You are responsible for backing up your device and your recordings.
2.5 Subscriptions and in-app purchases
Kairo offers optional paid features ("Kairo Pro") through Apple in-app purchase, including auto-renewable subscriptions and a one-time purchase. All billing, renewals and refunds are managed by Apple. See section 4 for the full subscription terms.
2.6 Intellectual property
The Kairo app, its code, interface design, brand marks and icon are owned by the developer. Video, photos and clips that you capture or export with Kairo remain entirely yours.
2.7 Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error free, or that exports will always succeed on every device and file.
2.8 Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including lost or corrupted footage, failed exports, loss of data, or injury during an activity. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
2.9 Changes and termination
We may modify, suspend or discontinue the App or any feature. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, such as intellectual property, disclaimers and limitation of liability, continue to apply.
3. User Policy
3.1 Appropriate use
Kairo is designed to help you capture and edit activity moments. You agree to use the App in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, and not to use it for unlawful or infringing activity.
3.2 Recording responsibility
You are solely responsible for the content you capture and export with Kairo. Before recording in public places, competitions or private venues, make sure you have the consent of the people who appear in your recordings and that your recording respects their privacy and any venue rules.
3.3 Safety during use
Always stay aware of your surroundings during sports activities. Do not operate your phone or watch in a way that distracts you or puts you or others at risk. Never interact with a device while moving at speed, in traffic, or in any situation where attention is required for safety.
3.4 Data responsibility
Because Kairo stores everything locally, you are responsible for keeping backups of important recordings. Deleting the app or resetting your device removes local data permanently.
4. Subscription and Refund Terms
This section explains the paid options in Kairo and the terms that apply to them. Prices are set in US dollars below; the App Store sets the price shown in each region, and the in-app purchase screen always shows the price you will actually be charged.
4.1 What each plan includes

4.3 Auto-renewal
Payment is charged to your Apple Account at the confirmation of purchase. A subscription automatically renews unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscriptions in your Apple Account settings after purchase.
4.4 Cancelling
You can cancel at any time from your Apple subscription settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal. The current period continues until it ends, and Pro features stay available until then.
4.5 Refunds
All purchases are processed by Apple, and refunds are handled by Apple according to its policies. Requests can be made at reportaproblem.apple.com. We do not receive your payment details and cannot issue refunds directly.
4.6 Restoring a purchase
If you reinstall Kairo or move to a new device, open the upgrade screen in the app and use Restore Purchases. Your entitlement is restored from your Apple Account for no extra charge.
4.7 Price changes
Prices may change or promotions may be introduced. Changes to an existing subscription follow Apple's rules, which include notifying you before a renewal at a higher price and letting you cancel.

1. 隐私政策
一句话版本：你的视频、会话和标记点都保存在本机。我们不收集个人信息，Kairo 也没有账号体系和服务器。
1.1 数据收集
Kairo 的全部数据处理都在你的设备上完成。我们不会收集、上传或分享你的个人信息。 视频、照片、会话与标记数据始终保存在 iPhone 本地，不会上传给我们或任何第三方。 App Store 的隐私标签中，Kairo 申报为「不收集数据」，且不进行追踪。
1.2 权限使用
- 相册读取权限：用于导入待剪辑的视频，并读取其中的内嵌时间码。
- 相册写入权限：用于把导出的片段保存回相册。
- 手表端健康权限：Kairo 仅通过启动体能训练会话，让 App 在拍摄期间保持常驻。 Kairo 不读取、不存储、不分享任何健康数据，也绝不会把 HealthKit 用于广告。
Kairo 不申请相机与麦克风权限，也不自行录制视频，素材由你提供。
1.3 本地存储与保留
会话与标记点通过 SwiftData 保存在本机，偏好设置存储在系统设置存储中。 剪辑过程中产生的临时视频文件会自动清理，你也可以随时在 App 的设置中清除缓存。 卸载 Kairo 会永久删除上述全部本地数据。
1.4 订阅与支付
Kairo Pro 的订阅与终身买断均由 Apple App Store 处理，支付、扣费与退款都由 Apple 负责。 Kairo 不会接触也不会存储任何支付信息。
1.5 云服务与第三方
Kairo 不使用 iCloud 同步，也没有集成任何第三方广告、统计或追踪 SDK。 除了加载商品、恢复购买与校验交易所需的 App Store 通信之外，App 不发起任何网络请求。
1.6 儿童隐私
本应用面向一般用户，不会故意收集儿童的个人信息。未成年人请在监护人指导下使用。
1.7 政策变更
本政策的更新会发布在本页面并更新日期。更新后继续使用 Kairo 即视为接受修订后的政策。
2. 服务条款
2.1 同意条款
下载、安装或使用 Kairo 应用（下称「本应用」），即表示你同意受本服务条款的约束。 如果你不同意本条款，请勿使用本应用。我们保留随时更新本条款的权利。
2.2 服务说明
Kairo 是一款为运动爱好者与内容创作者打造的高光片段捕获与编辑工具。 支持通过 Apple Watch 实时打点、导入原片、微调片段并导出视频。 Kairo 纯本地运行，录制数据、标记点与导出视频均仅保存在你的设备本地。
2.3 授权范围与 Apple 条款
Kairo 是授权给你使用，而非出售给你。你可在自己拥有或控制的 Apple 设备上，按 App Store 服务条款的许可范围个人使用本应用。你的使用同时受 Apple 标准最终用户许可协议（EULA）约束。两者冲突时，与 App Store 相关的部分适用 Apple 条款，与 Kairo 功能相关的部分适用本条款。
2.4 本地数据与备份
通过 Kairo 生成的所有数据均使用 Apple SwiftData 框架存储在你的设备上。 Kairo 不会在远程服务器上收集、传输或存储任何个人数据。你需要自行负责设备数据与拍摄素材的备份。
2.5 订阅与内购
Kairo 通过 Apple 应用内购买提供可选的高级功能（「Kairo Pro」），包括自动续订订阅与一次性买断。 所有扣费、续订与退款均由 Apple 统一管理。完整条款见第 4 节。
2.6 知识产权
Kairo 应用的代码、界面设计、品牌标识与图标均为开发者所有。 你使用 Kairo 拍摄或导出的视频、照片与片段，版权完全归你个人所有。
2.7 免责声明
本应用按「现状」与「现有」提供，不提供任何明示或暗示的保证，包括对特定用途适用性与非侵权的保证。 我们不保证本应用在所有设备与所有素材上都不中断、无错误或导出必定成功。
2.8 责任限制
在法律允许的最大范围内，开发者不对因使用本应用而产生的任何间接、附带、特殊或后果性损害承担责任， 包括素材丢失或损坏、导出失败、数据丢失，以及运动过程中的人身伤害。 部分司法辖区不允许此类限制，因此本节部分内容可能对你不适用。
2.9 变更与终止
我们可能修改、暂停或停止本应用或其中任何功能。你也可以随时删除本应用以停止使用。 依其性质应继续有效的条款（如知识产权、免责声明与责任限制）在终止后继续适用。
3. 用户政策
3.1 合规使用
Kairo 旨在帮助你记录与编辑精彩运动瞬间。你同意在符合当地法律法规的前提下使用本应用， 不得利用本应用从事违法或侵权活动。
3.2 录制与版权责任
你对使用 Kairo 捕获与导出的视频内容承担完全责任。在公开场所、赛事或私人场地录制前， 请确保已获得相关人员的知情同意，并遵守场地方的规定与隐私要求。
3.3 运动安全规范
使用 Apple Watch 或 iPhone 进行标记与录制时，请时刻注意周围环境安全。 切勿在高速移动、道路通行或任何需要集中注意力保障安全的场景下操作设备。
3.4 数据备份与管理
鉴于 Kairo 采用纯本地存储模式，卸载应用或重置设备将永久清除本地所有数据。 请定期备份重要视频项目。
4. 订阅与退款条款
本节说明 Kairo 的付费选项及其适用条款。下列价格以美元标价； 各地区实际价格由 App Store 决定，App 内购买页面显示的始终是你所在地区的实际价格。
4.1 各档位包含的内容

4.3 自动续订
确认购买后，费用将从你的 Apple 账户中扣除。除非在当前订阅期结束前至少 24 小时取消， 否则订阅会自动续订。续订费用将在当前订阅期结束前 24 小时内从你的 Apple 账户中扣除。 购买后，你可以随时在 Apple 账户设置中管理与取消订阅。
4.4 取消订阅
你可以随时在 Apple 订阅管理页面取消。 取消后不会再续订，当前订阅期会持续到结束，Pro 权益也保留到那时。
4.5 退款
所有购买均由 Apple 处理，退款依 Apple 的政策由其受理。你可以在 reportaproblem.apple.com 提交申请。 我们不会接触你的支付信息，也无法直接为你办理退款。
4.6 恢复购买
重装 Kairo 或更换设备后，打开 App 内的升级页面，点击「恢复购买」即可从你的 Apple 账户找回权益， 无需再次付费。
4.7 价格调整
价格可能调整，也可能推出优惠活动。对现有订阅的调整遵循 Apple 的规则， 其中包括在涨价续订前通知你，并允许你取消。
